It's disclosure time again. If you are not a fan of spoilers, there is no need to read any further.
Especially if you are looking forward to all that the WWE has in store for tonight's Night Of Champions pay-per-view.
Now that we have that out of the way, time to get down to business
So, with Jerry "The King" Lawler sidelined for the time being, the WWE has a hole to fill in commentary, and it appears they have wasted no time in coming up with a replacement. The problem is, there are two names that are being rumored.
WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross is in Boston, MA for the 2012 WWE Night of Champions PPV. With Jerry Lawler obviously not released from the hospital and ready to return to his announcing duties, it could be that Ross is being called to fill in for Lawler.
Meanwhile, F4Wonline reported (via WrestlingInc.com):
F4Wonline.com reported early this morning that former WWE Champion John Bradshaw Layfield had been contacted by WWE and they reached an agreement for him to work commentary for Night of Champions and tomorrow's RAW.
I think it's safe to say that either man would be a suitable replacement and would garner praise from fans. However, if I were a betting man, I would put my money on Ross simply because he tweeted the following a few days ago:
For Last time, King will NOT be @ NOC PPV. He had a HEART ATTACK Mon. Ask ur parents 2 explain. Cole won't be going solo. I Suggest u watch.— Jim Ross (@JRsBBQ) September 15, 2012
To me, that appeared to be a tease for his return. Although, it could also be a tease for JBL's return as the two are friends, and obviously JR respects his work.
In the end, we are merely hours away from the big event, so we should know soon enough who Cole will be rolling with tonight.
