The Drama Queens of Professional Sports

Drama queens. Every sport has one. In each of America's professional sports leagues, there is that one athlete that any fan would immediately identify as the ultimate stereotype of the prima donna athlete who will cause problems for everyone if he doesn't get his way.
Without further ado, I will now identify the biggest "drama queen" in each of America's professional sports leagues.
Baseball: Manny Ramirez
I highly doubt that there is any bigger drama queen in Major League Baseball than Manny Ramirez.
When in Boston, Manny one day woke up and decided that he no longer wanted to play for the Red Sox, and so he allegedly faked an injury and avoided playing any good baseball until the team was forced to trade him.
Now, even though Spring Training has already begun, Manny is still an unsigned free agent because he refuses to believe that the Los Angeles Dodgers' offer is the best out there.
While he is undoubtedly a great player, Manny is simultaneously the ultimate distraction on a baseball team, and therefore I declare him to be baseball's drama queen.
Basketball: Stephon Marbury
There may be no bigger drama queen in all of sports than Stephon Marbury. In spite of all of his talent, "Starbury", as he likes to call himself, became such a distraction in New York that he was banished from the team until a buyout agreement was finally reached.
Now with the defending champion Boston Celtics, it's just a matter of time before Stephon Marbury becomes the drama- filled "Starbury" once again.
Football: Terrell Owens
Ok, I'm sure everyone saw this one coming. T.O, or "Team Oblitorator", as he is commonly referred to on ESPN, is known for absolutely enihilating the team chemistry of the squads for which he plays.
Be it in San Francisco, Philadelphia, or Dallas, Terrell has managed to single- handedly destroy the locker room for which he plays through constant bickering, bad- mouthing, and accusations towards fellow players.
While his talent is certainly Hall of Fame worthy, his ego makes him one of the biggest drama queens in the history of sports.
Hockey: Sean Avery
Out of all of the players whom I have discussed in this list, Sean Avery may be the only one who intentionally desires to be a distraction. Sean has openly stated that he believes that the NHL is too uptight, and he feels that his antics are necessary in order to liven up the league a little bit.
Yes, the NHL may have some problems with its marketing, but crudely calling out his ex- girlfriend on national tv may not have been the best way to go about that.
Since the aforementioned escapade, Sean has been suspended indefinitely from the league, and is first now preparing to make a comeback with my beloved New York Rangers.
I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed that Sean directs his distractions toward the other team this time, and not towards the New York Rangers locker room.
Soccer: David Beckham
The Los Angeles Galaxy's high- priced prima donna came to America claiming that his recognition will save soccer in the USA. If that wasn't egotistical enough, he is now trying to reneg on his deal with the Galaxy after two injury- filled seasons in the United States.
In essence, David Beckham is all about himself and his image, rather than his game or the team he plays for. For this reason, I have no problem declaring him as the biggest drama queen in soccer.
