Georgia Bulldogs 2009: Predictions
Rather than write an article just to inform my reader, I want to start a discussion on a topic I want to learn more about.
It is my opinion that the Georgia Bulldogs are going to be better in '09 than they were in '08. Here's why.
1) I don't think Georgia's offense will miss a beat. Joe Cox will prove that he's more than just a backup. AJ Green, Marlon Brown, and Tavarres King will provide Georgia with at least three threats at wide receiver. The talent and depth at running back is good enough that nobody will miss Knowshon very much.
2) With players returning from injury and so many players with game experience Georgia should have outstanding offensive and defensive lines.
3) Georgia struggled greatly on the defensive side of the ball last year, but after returning to full contact during bowl practices the Bulldogs' defense played great against Michigan State. Hopefully we will see more of that in '09.
4) This offseason, the Georgia players are working harder than ever (I know we've all heard that before but hopefully this time it's different), and without Stafford and Moreno to rely on, there will be more emphasis on team.
I wanna hear your thoughts. Am I wrong? Am I right? What do you think?
