Which players are the most worthless in the NBA?
"Value" is set through the amount compensated versus the level of production received. As Bleacher Report’s assistant NBA editors Ethan Norof and Joel C. Cordes point out, these are the players who are giving the least return on the dollar.
Some are amnesty “victims” whose franchises are shelling out megabucks so that they play on a different team. Some of these guys are currently being paid not to play at all.
Others are actually halfway-usable players, it’s just that their production can’t live up to the contract whatsoever.
There are also guys whose multimillion-dollar deals compensate them for doing nothing more than taking up a roster spot. Whether their deal is expiring or not, their games died a long time ago, if they ever existed at all.
You can catch more offseason analysis from these guys on the B/R “Court Vision” blog.
