This will Showcase the best trades ever over the past decade.

It has some trades that were questionable for both teams, and some obviously uneven trades.

I chose this decade because there have been far too many great trades throughout the history of the NBA to list them all.

However, this decade has been filled with some very momentous trades.

Kidd for Marbury

Not an even trade when you look back. It was thought to be at the time, but it turned out differently.

Kidd went on to lead the Nets to back-to-back NBA Finals appearances while Marbury once again destroyed an excellent opportunity; although it did clear the way for Steve Nash's return.

Shaq for Odom and Butler(and others)

This trade brought Shaq to Miami where he would win his fourth NBA title. Sent Odom and Caron Butler to Lakers where Odom now starts.

Butler now plays for the Wizards.

Webber to Philly

This trade sent C-Webb and Matt Barnes to Philly for basically nothing but an aging Glenn Robinson.

Come on; where is the loyalty? Webber just about took your franchise to its peak and you trade him because he's hurt.

Iverson to Denver

I credit the GM and Front Office in Denver for this trade.

A couple of days after they lose the NBA's leading scorer, they pick up a four-time NBA scoring champion. Smart move.

However, when Melo came back it just seemed like the Denver Nuggets' two stars never really got on the same page.

It never panned out for AI with Denver, and it leads us to our next slide.

Iverson for Billups

This trade sent Mr. Big Shot to his hometown Nuggets, and AI to the Pistons.

The Nuggets appear to have received more from this trade.

AI hasn't really been a good fit for the Pistons. He put Richard 'Rip' Hamilton on the bench.

Meanwhile, Billups is helping the Nuggets possibly secure a third or fourth seed in the Western Conference.

Mo Williams to Cleveland

This trade has benefited the Cavaliers.

It has given LeBron a reliable second option.

Also, it has allowed Delonte West to play the two-guard position again, and it has given the Cavs a solid bench.

Bibby to Atlanta

This has given the Hawks what they have been missing for so long...a reliable PG.

He can play solid minutes and is a solid scorer. He dishes out an average number of dimes, and is almost the perfect compliment to Joe Johnson.

With Bibby only being 30, you can look for many good things to come from the Hawks.

Williams for Bibby

This was a really solid trade.

It allowed Bibby to move to bigger and better things with the Kings, and it allowed Jason Williams to be the number-one option with the Grizzlies.

Although he later rebuffed the trade, Williams wanted to be counted on.

McGrady for Francis

Although I still believe it was stupid on the Magic's part to trade away Tracy McGrady for an obviously less-talented, tempermental Steve Francis, it helped them in the long run.

If they hadn't traded T-Mac, they would have never sank into the mediocrity of the 2003-04 season and drafted D12 or Jameer Nelson.

Garnett and Allen to Celtics. Boston Three-Party.

You know the trade. You know the results. However, for anyone who's been under a rock this past year, here it is in a nutshell.

Pierce wanted out of Boston as he was tired of losing every season. The Celtics, however, wanted to keep him so they went out and flirted with the Sonics and Timberwolves in hopes of making a trade.

They eventually stole Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett from those respective franchises, and along with Paul Pierce, formed the Celtics third "Big Three".

With help from PG Rajon Rondo, and other role players, the Celtics rolled through the regular season and the playoffs.

Finally, in the NBA Finals they dispatched the LA Lakers in six games for their 17th title, returning the Celtics to glory.
