Derrick Ward Agrees to Four-Year Contract With Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Nathan RollinsContributor IMarch 3, 2009

Derrick Ward has reportedly agreed to a four-year contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, worth $17 million.

Ward was kind of in the shadow of Pro Bowl running back Brandon Jacobs in New York.

Now we can kind of smell what the Bucs will be doing after releasing some long time greats.

Ward rushed for 1,025 yards and two touchdowns last year for the Giants.
