The Program: Can Notre Dame, Wake Forest and Stanford Pull the Upset?

We're heading into Week 3, and as always we take a look at the Top 25 and which programs should be on "Upset Alert" in their pending contests. In this week's edition of the Upset Alert we take a look at a couple of Top 10 teams and another team hovering just outside of the Top 10.

For Michigan State this Notre Dame game is about more than just staving off an upset bid. Rather, this is about getting revenge for an embarrassing 2011 loss, and beating one of their rivals. The Spartans bring one of the nation's premier defenses to the party, but will that be enough to beat Notre Dame?

In USC, we have a team that lost to Stanford a year ago behind the arms, and legs, of Andrew Luck. Now, with Luck gone, the Trojans are on a mission and will be looking to start their Pac-12 season off on the right foot.

Finally, Florida State and Wake Forest. The Demon Deacons are no strangers to beating the Seminoles. However, with Florida State charged for their first FBS, BCS and ACC game, all in one, it will be interesting to see how Jimbo Fisher's boys come out to play.

We talk all of that on this Upset Alert edition of The Program.
