Bleacher ReportAnalyst IMarch 3, 2009

On Monday, the United States Coast Guard found the missing fishing boat of Oakland Raiders linebacker Marquis Cooper (above) upside down with one man still on the vessel, clinging to the hull.

The survivor was former University of South Florida football player Nick Schuyler. Schuyler said that he'd hung on to the boat for two nights.

Cooper, Detroit Lions defensive lineman Corey Smith, and former USF player William Bleakley were not found.

Schuyler told authorities that the 21 foot boat was anchored when it flipped Saturday night in rough seas.

Cooper has previously played with Tampa Bay, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Seattle, and Jacksonville after playing college football at Washington. He has recorded 37 tackles in his NFL career.

Smith has previously played with Tampa Bay and San Francisco. He has recorded 30 tackles, three sacks, a fumble forced, and an interception in his NFL career. He played college football at North Carolina State.

The search continues for the three missing men.
