ESPN's John Clayton reports that former New York Giants running back Derrick Ward has agreed to a four-year, $17 million deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Bucs, who had parted ways with 12-year veteran Warrick Dunn, were in dire need of a younger power-running back.
