T.J. Houshmandzadeh Is a Seahawk

Eric QuackenbushSenior Analyst IMarch 2, 2009

The deal is finally done. Everyone's questions, as to where Housh will play football in 2009, have finally been answered.

After Houshmandzadeh's agent was told by the Philadelphia Eagles that they were no longer interested in his client's services, Houshmandzadeh and his agent went on a westerly walkabout, visiting the Seattle Seahawks and Minnesota Vikings.

The Bengals also had a contract offer for Houshmandzadeh, in hopes he would return to Cincinnatti, but T.J. made other arrangements, and has come to an agreement with the Seattle Seahawks.

The terms of the deal are not yet known, but an agreement was reached Monday evening, and Houshmandzadeh will be with the Seattle Seahawks in 2009.
