Laurent who? That's what Dallas Cowboys fans hopefully will be asking soon. Based on his crazy Week 1 performance against the Giants, wide receiver Kevin Ogletree is making folks forget about Laurent Robinson real fast.
Ogletree, the Cowboys long sought-after third WR, lit up the Giants secondary in Week 1 for 114 yards and two touchdowns.
One problem may be solved, but the offensive line for the Cowboys looked shaky at best. Tony Romo was continually forced out of the pocket by the Giants' vaunted defense, but he somehow managed to throw for 307 yards, leading Dallas to an impressive 24-17 win in New York.
Rookie Russell Wilson looked like a rookie.
Granted, he did show some signs of brilliance. Had it not been for Braylon Edwards' last second, game-winning drop, we'd be talking folk hero about Wilson. Instead, the best we can say about Seattle's offense regards the explosiveness of special-teamer Leon Washington, as his two long kickoff and punt returns led to scores for the Seahawks.
Russell Wilson will have a much harder time against a greatly improved Dallas secondary led by Morris Claiborne and Brandon Carr.
Are the Cowboys finally ready to be Super Bowl contenders? Can the Seahawks pull of the upset? Comment below and let us know.
