Yes, they can score, despite their first team being shut out in preseason. Not only can the Jets score, but they set a franchise record 48 points for a season opener against the Bills. Buffalo was supposed to have a revamped defense with the additions of key players like Mario Williams and Stephon Gilmore, but Mark Sanchez put an end to any QB controversy in New York.
The Jets will be facing a deflated Pittsburgh Steelers team who found out that Peyton Manning is every bit the QB he was back in 2010. The vaunted Pittsburgh defense was carved up by Manning for four straight scoring drives as the Broncos won handily 31-19. To make matters worse, it was the Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau's 75th birthday.
