Cleveland Browns rookie starting running back Trent Richardson may have come into the team’s Week 1 game questionable with a knee injury, but he is running with authority against the Philadelphia Eagles.
After rushing to the outside, Richardson went helmet to helmet with Eagles safety Kurt Coleman, jarring the defender’s helmet off his head and straight into the air.
Richardson was always a brutal runner with the Alabama Crimson Tide during his college career, but many questioned whether it would translate well to the NFL.
As we saw on this play and throughout the game against the Eagles, the rookie is ready for the big leagues.
