It was only a matter of time before the Patriots blew the Titans out of the water, winning the game 34-13. The victory marks the ninth-consecutive season-opening win for the Patriots. The Patriots defense held the Titans to 20 yards of rushing on the day and only allowed 272 yards passing.
Tom Brady and the offense worked from a short field for most of the day and their stats don't fully reflect the unit's strong showing.
The Titans passing offense looks like it will be okay in Locker's hands, but Nate Washington went down with a concussion and Kenny Britt is still recovering from three offseason knee surgeries. The Titans are suddenly very thin at the position.
