TNA No Surrender 2012: Complete Card, Live Stream, Predictions and More
Letโs make no mistake about it; TNA Wrestling is building towards the biggest show on their calendar, Bound For Glory, and No Surrender has been an afterthought.
BFG is their WrestleMania and No Surrender is their lead-in.
Besides the amazing No. 1 contender tournament that is an original and unique idea and the tag team title match, this card is full of thrown-together battles just to get the company through until the real storylines can start and finish.

What Theyโre Saying
X-Division champion Zema Ion has missed so much TV time over the last month because of the BFG Series and Aces and Eights that he is forced to build his own cause via Twitter. What an absolute shame; a great match buried under TNAโs poor planning:
"just signed for TNA #NoSurrender this Sunday LIVE on pay-per-view... your X-Division champION, Zema Ion vs. Sonjay Dutt! @impactwrestling
โ Me Myself and ION (@ZemaTNA) September 5, 2012"
Ring Rust Radio talks about how the conclusion of two of the companyโs biggest storylines will help make this secondary PPV something special:
"With the culmination of the BFG Series and hopefully a resolution in the Aces & Eights storyline, #TNA's #NoSurrender should be damn good!
โ RingRustRadio (@RingRustRadio) September 8, 2012"
Another interesting aspect of TNAโs No Surrender to watch could be the impact Joey Ryan has on the show. While the company likes saving him for the Gut Check segments, this has to be part of this PPV to prove that he is part of the companyโs future. Ryanโs war with Al Snow may be a sign of things to come:
"1st thing I'm gonna do after I sue @therealalsnow & @dixietna and takeover, is hire @mattjackson13, @nickjacksonyb, @scorpiosky & @yumabooma
โ Joey Ryan (@JoeyRyanOnline) September 7, 2012"
Undercard Match to Watch
Tag Team Championship: AJ Styles & Kurt Angle vs. Christopher Daniels & Kazarian
While the AJ Styles and Claire Lynch storyline was arguably one of the worst storylines in wrestling history, the sheer horribleness of it made it actually funny.
With that atrocity finally put down, TNA will hand us one of the greatest matches of 2012 again.
Kurt Angle will team up with AJ Styles against Christopher Daniels and Kazarian for the tag team titles that the duo dropped at Slammiversary. The match between these four men at TNAโs tenth anniversary show stole the show and is considered one of the matches of the year so far.
If TNA can capture the intensity of that match again, these wrestlers will steal the show.
Main Event Prediction
While there is little doubt that Aces and Eights will play a role in this PPV, the Bound for Glory Series matches will feature little-to-no outside interference.
They shouldnโt either.
After months of building this tournament to these last three matches, the worst possible scenario would be TNA allowing the gang to ruin what could be an amazing payoff. To the companyโs credit, the winner of the tournament is not obvious and not well known; something WWE has failed to do time and time again.
With Bully Rayโs contract being the source of many rumors and much speculation, the least the company could do was scratch the manโs back after he has turned himself into one of the best heels in the business today.
Bully Ray must win and become the No. 1 contender.
Austin Aries vs. Bully Ray may not be the technical masterpiece some fans would look for in the Bound for Glory main event, but the war of words between those two would make the next month memorable to say the least.
Prediction: Bully Ray will become the new No. 1 contender
