The Auburn Tigers have lost to the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Auburn looked horrid consistently throughout the game, unable to make plays offensively. 

The Mississippi State team looked complete and dangerous on both sides of the ball. Tyler Russell seems to have a bright future ahead leading this Bulldogs offense. 

Russell finished the game 20-of-29 for 222 yards and three touchdowns.

After what looked to be a promising drive developing for Auburn, Kiehl Frazier put the ball on the ground at the end of a scramble and turns the ball over to the Bulldogs.

Auburn forces a punt from the Bulldogs and will take over just past their own 20-yard line. Auburn needs to salvage some type of confidence here. Getting just a field goal would work wonders for the teams confidence. 

The Tigers have shown more issues this week than expected. Lot of work to do for the Tigers coaches. 

The Bulldogs have played lights out. They were ready for this game and it shows. A superb defensive effort is leading the charge for Mississippi State.

Auburn's Kiehl Frazier throws his third interception of the game. It is becoming apparent why the Tigers struggled to name a starting quarterback to start the season. 

Frazier is making really bad timing decisions, handing the game to the Bulldogs. Auburn has to find a new strategy to make Frazier more successful. 

Key Stat for Frazier:

5-of-14 for 53 yards, three interceptions. 

The Auburn offense is showing some growth, but it is likely too late. Kiehl Frazier made a big throw to Emory Blake for a big completion. This game will be a marker for future growth. 

Auburn is looking terrible on defense now. When the offense can not move the ball, the defense pays. The Tigers missed five tackles on that rushing touchdown. Auburn needs to get back to the basics. 

This has been a very surprising turn of events considering the Tigers' game against Clemson. Auburn has a long way to go before it returns to competitive play inside the SEC.

Tyler Russell is looking like an All-American right now. Dee Ford drops a pick that could have been a big play for Auburn. Instead, major pass completion for the Bulldogs.

Another punt for the Tigers. At this point, they may as well get the buses started. Time to head home and regroup, if they can. Hang on Tigers fans, looks to be a long year ahead. 

Auburn forces the punt on defense. The Tigers offense has to get something started or the game will be over in short order. A full quarter left, but they have to move the ball offensively. 

Auburn is forced to punt the ball away after another stagnant offensive series. This is not how the Tigers expected this game to go. 

The Bulldogs defense is playing very well, taking away a number of options for the Tigers offense. Putting the defense back on the field will continue to wear down the Tigers team. Not a lot of gas left. 

Big play by Bray there for Auburn.

Mississippi State extends its lead on the Tigers with the third touchdown toss for Tyler Russell. The Auburn defense has lost the edge without the Auburn offense producing. 

Mississippi State gets a big 4th down conversion across the 50-yard line. The wildcat formation beat the Tigers defense. 

Key Stat:

Tyler Russell--16-of-23 for 176 yards, two touchdowns. 

Kiehl Frazier--2-of-8 for 2 yards, two interceptions. 

Auburn is forced to punt the ball away again. Another three and out for the Tigers offense. Auburn is not getting much done on the offensive side of the ball and it is going to kill the defense. 

Mississippi State is doing a great job stopping the Tigers and reading the plays. The Bulldogs continue control of the game, taking the punt just short of the 50-yard line. 

Auburn is giving a lot of space in the middle of the field and Tyler Russell is eating up the yardage. 

It led to a big touchdown throw from Russell, giving the Bulldogs the lead again in the game.

Onterio McCalebb makes a huge break in the return game. He took the opening half kickoff to the house, giving the Tigers the lead 10-7 heading out of the blocks. 

McCalebb is one of the fastest players in the country and proved it on that run. Big break for the Tigers.

Auburn entered half with -2 passing yards on the game. Kiehl Frazier has missed keys in the passing game and has force two throws that have gone for interceptions. 

The Tigers have found success on the ground, mounting 67 rushing yards, but are only averaging 2.8 yards per carry. 

The Auburn defense has been much improved over a week ago, but they can't carry the win for the Tigers in this one.

The Bulldogs have been very strong through the air with Tyler Russell going 12-of-17 for 116 yards so far in the game. They have struggled on the ground only averaging 2.9 yards per carry and totaling 41 yards on the ground. 

Mississippi State has the lead and the momentum as the game heads out of half.

Corey Lemonier gets a huge sack to stop the Bulldogs drive. Auburn can not continue to play this badly on offense. The defense is finally catching on, but they need some breathers from the Auburn offense. 

It appears the game is heading into half with Auburn snagging the ball after halftime. The Tigers have to make a better stand if they want to win this game. 

The Bulldogs are doing everything they need to do to win the game. They need more offensive production, but they are controlling this game. 

I take back my previous statement. Frazier is looking terrible. Really bad decisions being made right now. Bulldogs ball after a big pick. 

Kiehl Frazier is making plays with his feet, he just can't find guys open down field. This Bulldogs defense is very strong in the secondary and it is showing. 

This is a key third down for the Tigers. 

Mississippi State attempts a field goal and it's blocked. The Tigers need some life in this drive. Maybe they will get some pep in their step offensively. 

Looking at the interception, Frazier needs better pass protection. No time to let routes develop.

Auburn catches a break with a holding call that pushes the Bulldogs back. This is a crucial drive for the Bulldogs' offense and Auburn defense. 

Key stat: Auburn is -2 in passing yards. Ouch. 

Big pick by Mississippi State. Jonthan Banks made a huge play after a terrible throw by Frazier. He tried to escape the pocket, but it blew up in the Tigers' offense face. 

Greg Robinson appears down with an injury. Not a good sign for Auburn. 

Mississippi State got a huge seam route completion for a touchdown. 

The Auburn defense is struggling in coverage and Tyler Russell is good enough to take advantage of it. Marcus Green ran a great route, but there is no way he should have that much green space around him. 

The Bulldogs take the lead after a strong drive where a lot of key plays were made from the quarterback position. Russell is a baller. 

Great throw by Russell there. He made a big completion while taking a lick. The Bulldogs are driving.
