Japanese lightweight all-star Tatsuya Kawajiri has been hired to compete at DREAM 7 on Mar. 8.

Kawajiri will be fighting against relatively unknown fighter Ross Ebanez. Ebanez who trains at B.J. Penn's Gym is a former opponent of Eddie Alvarez back in January of 2008 in the ShoXC promotion.

It is unkown at the time what weight class the two fighters will compete at.Kawajiri usually fights at 155 lbs where Ebanez usually fights around 170 lbs.

However, Ebanez has fought opponents in the lightweight division so it is more than likely the fight will take place at 155 or a catch weight.

Kawajiri, who last fought on New Years won his kickboxing match against Kozo Takeda at the Fields Dynamite 2009 show. Ebanez is coming off a first round victory over Waachiim Spiritwolf at Rumble on the Rock-Beatdown 9.

Both Kawajiri and Ebanez have fought and loss to Alvarez and share a similar amount time in the ring with him as well. Kawajiri spent a total of seven minutes and 35 seconds and Ebanez spent a total of seven minutes and 32 seconds.
