Tiger Woods at BMW Championship 2012 Tracker: Day 2 Highlights, Updates and More

Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy take on water-logged Crooked Stick Golf Club just outside Indianapolis for the second round of the BMW Championship Tournament.

It was not as pretty as yesterday's round but almost as effective.
Despite not getting the most out of his driver, Tiger Woods goes out today and beats the weather for a solid five-under 67 today.
He goes into the weekend just one back of Vijay Singh and remains tied with new best friend Rory McIlroy.

Rory has eight feet and Tiger has five feet.
Rory sinks his putt and scrambles for a four-under 68.
Tiger is taking his time from five feet.
He sinks his putt for birdie.
A five-under 67 and only one shot behind Singh and may yet be again with McIlroy tomorrow.
Tiger and Rory have under 140 left to the flag.
With the pin on the right, water could be a factor long.
Rory playing first and he spins it about 10 feet above the hole for a birdie try.
Tiger was three yards longer off the tee and his wedge lands about where Rory's ball stopped and spins back to about 5-8 feet left of the hole pin high.
The last hole curls around a pond in the right side.
On the card at 457, this par-four has an ample fairway and a front cut pin.
A pull right is wet.
Tiger has the driver out.
He likes it and it stays on the left side of the fairway and long.
Rory also finds the fairway a yard or two behind Tiger on the same side.
Rory could not keep his flop shot above the hole and it rolls well past. He has a lengthy par putt coming.
Tiger just nails his birdie putt from 30 feet down the hill and true.
A birdie here and just two-back.
Rory gets a good read from Tiger's putt and drains his 17 foot par save.

Tiger has 27 feet from left of the hole for birdie while Rory has 33 feet from the thick stuff.
The par-three 17th is next.
Tiger has a six-iron from 213 yards.
With the pin on the center-right, he hits the green center-left.
Rory has missed the green to the right in the front of the gallery. He has a delicate downhill chip coming up.
Tiger has to pitch from just off the green and that pitch catches a slope and it cuts away from the hole.
Rory stubs his little pitch from the rough and has a bogey putt.
Tiger has six feet left for his par.
He took his time and reads it right.
A solid four for Tiger.
McIlroy has four feet left and has to remark and re-read.
He makes that to slip back to 11-under.

Tiger can only punch it out to the fairway it looks like.
Rory will play first and catches his club in rough first.
He barely gets it out in he fairway.
Woods is able to hook his punch out straight down the fairway and is short of the green on the left side.
Rory has 113 from the first cut but has missed the green nearly flag high and in the rough right.
The long 470-yard par-four 16th hole is next.
Woods just shanks his driver well right into an area with gallery and trees.
Rory has done the same thing and looks to be right near Tiger.
The 16th is the third-hardest hole this week playing at 4.12.

Rory got a drop from the grandstand and is in a trampled area.
He flops one right on the fringe and it releases all the way next to the hole.
A tap-in birdie from an amazing location.
Tiger has an uphill putt that will break right.
He powered it through the break and taps in for his birdie.

Tiger has just 14 feet left for his eagle bid.
Rory has about 60 feet left from the bleachers right of the green.
Rory has about 230 left and his three-wood catches the bleachers right.
Tiger has an iron in hand. Wind is blowing right-to-left.
He hits a beautiful hook that lands on the back side of the fringe right and rolls safely on the green.
He is above the hole for an eagle putt.
Rory was clearly not happy after his second.
Three-wood did seem like a lot of club.
Tiger takes driver on the reachable par-five 15th hole.
He belts it 302 yards down the middle.
Rory also finds the fairway.
On the left side, he hits it 298.
Pin today is cut on the back left o a green that is shaped like a skinny pair of sunglasses.
Rory had 27 yards to the flag from a scruffy lie.
He hits it true and is a few feet right of the hole.
Tiger has 70 feet from wrong side of the green.
He plays the break very well and is a couple feet under the hole left for a par.
Rory pushes his eight footer past the hole right.
A bogey for him.
Tiger has under four feet for his par.

Vijay Singh is in today with a six-under 66. He has the solo lead at 13-under.
Rory has a sidehill lie, but he ball is sitting up.
His three-wood finds the galley right of the green.
After hitting all his fairways on the front side, McIlroy has missed the first four on the back.
Tiger is on the right edge from 229.
With a pin cut front-right, Tiger hits the back-left part of the green.
Rory has around 250 from the rough while Tiger has 223 from the fairway.
The 14th hole may just be the toughest driving hole on the course.
The hole is shaped like a bent elbow, You drive it from where the shoulder would be to the elbow and then hit it from the elbow to the hand.
Rory has driven his tee shot way right over the gallery.
Tiger has found the right-center of the fairway.
Tiger cannot read his birdie putt right and it rolls right and a few feet long past the hole.
From 15 feet, Rory read the line, but just missed the speed.

He goes into the wind long and lands it on the fairway just past the green.

He makes solid contact and it lands hole high and releases a bit towards the back.
The 12th hole is a 424-yard par-four that has trouble on the right with a missed drive.
Rory has missed the airway left.
Right of the fairway is in a dry gully and will be hard to get up to the green.
Tiger took an iron and has hit the fairway on the left side and is in good shape.
Rory has 11 feet for birdie.
He plays it left-to-right and converts for a share of the lead.
