According to her official fansite, k-waters.net, former TNA Knockouts Champion Winter has left TNA Wrestling.

Just wanted to make an update and let everyone know Kat’s contract with TNA is officially up! Which means she is free to do DVDs, bookings, iPPVs, and whatever else! If interested please send emails to infamousbookings@hotmail.com. This is definitely not bad news, as she is now free to move onto bigger and better things! Good luck with whatever else you are pursuing Kat!!

Winter, real name Katarina Waters, had been a member of the Knockouts division within TNA since 2010. A former WWE Diva, it was not until her arrival with the second-largest company in professional wrestling that she was allowed to showcase her in-ring talents on a full-time basis.

A two-time Knockouts Champion and a one-time Knockouts Tag Team Champion (with partner Angelina Love), she had accomplished everything there was to accomplish in the company and, in recent months, had disappeared from television completely.

It remains to be seen what is in Waters' future, but for now, she will likely continue to work the independents while waiting for offers to come her way.

For now, Total Nonstop Action has lost another valuable piece of their Knockouts division. In recent months, Angelina Love and Velvet Sky have also departed the company, while Sarita and Rosita's statuses remain in limbo.

Whether the company plans to reload the Knockouts roster or not remains an immediate question.
