FULL TIME: JAMAICA 2, USA 1
There's the final whistle. Jamaica picks up the win, and it's fully deserved. This was a poor performance from the US, and Jamaica did more than enough to win.
This is disappointing, but it's by no means lethal for the US chances of qualifying. The top two teams from the group qualify for the final round, and the US will have another shot at Jamaica back at home on Tuesday.
They'll have to play much, much better though.
90+1—JAMAICA SUB
Nothing much happening on the pitch.
Omar Cummings replaces Ryan Johnson for Jamaica. The US is almost out of time.
83'—JAMAICA SUB
Luton Shelton leaves the match. Joel Senior comes on.
82'—JAM 2, USA 1
Dwayne Miller swats away a US free kick. Moments later he punches away a high ball into the box.
Both could have been dangerous, but the Jamaica keeper was more than ready.

Now Jermaine Jones earns a yellow card. Shocking, I know.

76'—CARD!
Jevaughn Watson earns a yellow card for a forearm or elbow to Jermaine Jones' face. Ouch.
71'—USA SUBS
Two changes for the US.
Brek Shea and Terrence Boyd come on.
Maurice Edu and Jozy Altidore head off.
68'—JAM 2, USA 1
Jamaica still dominating the US. There's just no flow for the US in the midfield, and they can't get anything going right now.
Not a good performance for Jurgen Klinsmann's team. That first-minute goal seems like eons ago.

MORE ON THE GOAL
Rodolph Austin earns the free kick yet again. This time Luton Shelton steps up and curls the ball into the net from 25 yards.
Good goal, but that's disappointing for the U.S. Two goals from free kicks.
62'—GOAL JAMAICA!
Yet another free kick for Jamaica, and it's another goal!
60'—INJURY
Jermaine Jones is lying injured on the pitch, clutching at his face. He kicked and whiffed at the ball a moment ago. Is his ego bruised more than anything?
58'—USA SUB
Danny Williams replaces Kyle Beckerman.

57'—SHOT!
Austin wins another free kick for Jamaica in a position similar to the one he scored from in the first half.
This time his shot is wide of the target.
55'—JAM 1, USA 1

53'—JAM 1, USA 1
Herculez Gomez leads a quick US break down the middle. He pops the ball over the top for Dempsey, who can't control the ball in the box.
The move ends there.
On the other end, Tim Howard looks hurt after a challenge on the edge of his box.

49'—JAM 1, USA 1
Jamaica wins a series of corners. The last one is worked around to Rodolph Austin, who whips in a dangerous cross.

48'—JAM 1, USA 1
The wall doesn't jump, and the shot is blocked. Tim Howard then punches away a long-distance shot.
From the ensuing corner, Jermaine Jones nearly heads the ball into the U.S. net.
It's getting hairy for the US at the back.
47'—JAM 1, USA 1
Antoerh free kick for Jamaica, a bit farther out than the spot they scored from in the first half.
Will the wall jump this time?
Second half
Jamaica restarts the match…
HALFTIME: JAMAICA 1, USA 1
There's the whistle. Both teams have scored, but Jamaica have controlled the match lately.
Clint Dempsey scored 36 seconds into the match, and then Jamaica started building. Rodolph Austin equalized with a deflected free kick, and the Reggae Boyz held a bunch of possession afterwards.
The U.S. solidified a bit toward the end of the half and had a few opportunities. Can they do more in the second half?
We might see some changes. What would you do?
45'—JAM 1, USA 1
Beckerman moves forward now and plays the ball through the middle with Altidore lurking.
Dwayne Miller comes off his line quickly and gathers the ball, though not without drama.
44'—US CHANCE!
Parkhurst crosses low from the right and finds Dempsey streaking through the box. Dempsey redirects the ball on goal, but Miller saves.
Good move from the US.

41'—JAM 1, USA 1
Altidore and Dempsey combine in the Jamaica box, but the move ends with Altidore shooting high and wide.

What's wrong with the US?
Expected this lineup, but not this formation. Thought Herc and Clint, both comfortable wide, would withdraw w/ Jozy high. This isnt working.
