Here’s a look at LestersLegends' sit and start advice as you set your lineups for the opening week of the 2012 NFL season.
Quarterbacks
Start:
Jay Cutler, Chicago Bears: I don’t consider him a weekly starter at this point, but his early matchup with Indianapolis is favorable.
Sit:
Joe Flacco, Baltimore Ravens: I like Flacco this year, but I would hold off on using him in the opener against Cincy.
Running Backs
Start:
DeAngelo Williams, Carolina Panthers: With Jonathan Stewart hurting D-Will could see a ton of touches in the opener against Tampa Bay.
Sit:

Willis McGahee, Denver Broncos: I think he was still have a solid year, but in Peyton’s debut against Pittsburgh it doesn’t seem like McGahee will be stealing the show.
Wide Receivers
Start:
Titus Young, Detroit Lions: I think he is in for a big year, and there isn’t many more attractive options than starting off against the Rams.
Sit:
Stevie Johnson, Buffalo Bills: If you have solid options, it may be smart to rest Stevie while he’s on Revis Island.
Tight Ends
Start:
Greg Olsen, Carolina Panthers: The Bucs made a lot of changes this offseason, but I think Olsen, who the Panthers are extremely high on, will have a nice 2012 debut.
Sit:
Dustin Keller, New York Jets: Until the Jets figure things out on offense they are probably one to avoid opening week.

Defenses
Start:
Detroit Lions: They aren’t an elite defense, but they make a nice start against the Rams.
Sit:
San Francisco 49ers: They are my No. 1 defense this year, but I hate how the matchup against the Packers.
