Michigan vs. Air Force Preview: What the Wolverines Need to Do to Bounce Back

Adam Jacobi@Adam_JacobiBig Ten Football Lead WriterSeptember 4, 2012

There's no rest for Michigan's defense in Week 2 as Air Force comes to town. The Falcons rushed for 484 yards in a 49-21 drubbing of Idaho State, and while Michigan is, likely, ever so slightly more talented than Idaho State (the Bengals went 2-9 in FCS play last year), Air Force is still going to present a unique challenge to the Wolverines this week.

Here, Michael Felder and I talk about the key problems Michigan needs to address as it moves forward from the pounding Alabama put on the Wolverine defense in last week's 41-14 debacle.

What's the most important thing for Michigan's defenders to keep in mind during this game? How can Michigan re-assert its will on the football field? We discuss those issues and give our predictions for Michigan's battle against Air Force.
