NFL Fanbases Hungriest for a Championship
We're breaking down NFL fanbases hungriest for a championship brought to you by Old Spice Champion. Believe in your smelf.
Did you know that Detroit is one of four NFL teams that has never been to a Super Bowl? As if the people of Detroit haven't suffered enough. But the Lions faithful are really excited about their team this year. Their passing attack led by Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson is one of the best in the entire league. This could be the year their fans see their team in the Big Game.
The other three teams? Houston, Jacksonville and Cleveland. And the Browns used to be really good. Their fans always sell out Cleveland Browns Stadium, and those fans in the "Dawg Pound" deserve to watch a good team play every week. No fanbase in the league is as rabid...or as supportive.
I'll give you one more hungry team, the Washington Redskins. The burgundy and gold have only had two winning seasons since 1999, but things are finally looking up on the Beltway. Robert Griffin III has the potential to become a cornerstone franchise quarterback, and the No. 2 overall draft pick might finally bring the hope and change that Redskins fans are looking for.
Those are my fanbases hungriest for a championship presented by Old Spice Champion. Let me hear your teams in the comments, and once again, thanks for watching.
