Updated MLB 2012 Playoff Bracket
At the moment, things are calm in the National League. All three division leaders in the Senior Circuit have leads of at least 4.5 games, and the chase for the wild card is quickly becoming a three-horse race.
Meanwhile, in the American League, the biggest division lead is a mere four games, and there are three teams within 3.5 games of the second wild-card spot.
Crazy, right?
Not really. Crazy is the fact that the Baltimore Orioles could have sole possession of first place in the AL East over the New York Yankees in a matter of days. Such things just do not happen.
Will the Orioles actually come out on top in the end, though? Or will their Cinderella run ultimately fall short?
That's just one of several questions about the MLB postseason races that is answered in the above video. B/R pop culture lead writer Gabe Zaldivar and I hooked up once again to swap our predictions for the MLB postseason bracket, and fortunately for us, the cameras were rolling.
