Purdue gives up 26 first half points, after the Boilers jumped out to an early lead the Buckeyes made a solid run behind the skills of Evan Turner who finished the game with 14pts.and helped Ohio State get back into the contest the first half lead was only six points.

The Boilers came out of the  locker room with a clear cut agenda, put the Buckeyes away early in the second half.

E'twaun Moore contributed 10 boards to go with his 11 points and six assists as Robbie Hummel tossed in 17pts while struggling at the line 3-6 and only four boards but just his presence allows the team to be more consistent on the offensive end, Nemanja Calasan played only 13 minutes and had a strong game with 14 points.

Lewis Jackson (see trivia question from "waterbug" article) added a great point guard line with six points, seven assists, one rebound, but most of all the (STM)steal to turnover momentum ratio. This (STM) is key because it is also leads to what amounts as a four point play, the steal and momentum this is why the Boilers have a big advantage in the Big Ten Tournament.
