US Open Tennis 2012: Schedule of Day 9 Play

The ninth day of the 2012 US Open, which will be played on Tuesday, September 4th, 2012, will feature some of the tournament's most exciting matches thus far. Top ranked Victoria Azarenka will face defending champion Samantha Stosur, men's champion Novak Djokovic will take on the dangerous backhand specialist Stanislas Wawrinka, Richard Gasquet will play David Ferrer in a match of two top ten players, and Andy Roddick faces his toughest match yet against Juan Martin Del Potro.

There will also be plenty of excitement in the doubles draws, as duos like the Bryan Brothers, Liezel Huber and Max Mirnyi, and Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci lead an exciting collection of matches.

13 of the courts at Flushing Meadows will be used on Day 9, mostly for various singles and doubles matches in the juniors' draw. Only four of the courts - Arthur Ashe Stadium, Louis Armstrong Stadium, the Grandstand and Court 17 - will feature men's and women's play.
