Rumors and Realities: Barcelona Planning Big Summer Swoops

Barcelona have had a brilliant season so far with Pep Guardiola bringing style to Barca's victories. But Barca's form has slipped recently and they have struggled against Espanyol and Lyon.

In modern football, if a team wins a 100 consecutive games but draws once, the media highlights "the awful form" and says that drastic change is needed.

Well, according to untrusted fabricated news, Barcelona are ready to welcome some major new faces in the summer.

One man who has "already signed" for Barcelona on a four-year-contract is Bayern Munich's Frank Ribery.

Barcelona might be front-runners for Ribery's signature-unless Manchester City are interested in the France international.

Another wanted man is Sergio Aguero, who is a reported target of Inter Milan. Of course Aguero, as any other footballer, is probably a target of Manchester City.

On another note, Belarus national football team coach Bernd Stange says Alexander Hleb should "play more."

It is said that Stange has warned Hleb that either he plays more or he risks losing his place to other stars such as Alexander Kuchiy and Vladimir Kolytko.

So be warned, because there are a lot of Belarusian stars out there, Hleb! If you want to play more, go to City. They want you, I'm sure.

Ruud van Nistelrooy wants to "kiss and make up" with Sir Alex Feguson according to The Mirror

Ferguson is a married man, but he would probably want to end the feud that led to the Dutch striker's move from Manchester to play with Real Madrid.

They will make up-unless van Nistelrooy betrays United big time and moves to City in the summer.

In London, reports suggest that Chelsea are lining up Frank Rijkaard as the replacement for Guus Hiddink come May.

However, contradicting reports say that Hiddink might after all stay at Chelsea and leave his Russia post his compatriot, Dick Advocaat.

Rijkaard for City?

That's it for R-R,

Cheers!
