The Chicago Cubs gave Josh Vitters his shot. In the middle of a rebuilding season, seeing Vitters take over at third base was a potential 2012 highlight for Cubs fans who have waited five seasons for his arrival in Chicago. Unfortunately after his first month in the big leagues, Vitters has struck out 20 times in 59 at-bats, managing to hit only .085 so far. Consequently manager Dale Sveum has decided to stick with veteran Luis Valbuena as his regular third baseman for the rest of the year...
