The Biggest Signings of the NFL Free Agency Period (So Far)
With NFL free agency starting immediately on Friday, many moves have been made. Players have been released, but the big news are getting re-signed and signed.

Albert Haynesworth was signed by the Washington Redskins for a whopping seven year, 100 million dollar deal.
The Redskins were also fairly busy in the free agent market releasing Shawn Springs and signing Derrick Dockery as well.
Kellen Winslow was traded by the Cleveland Browns to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for undisclosed draft picks.
Running back Fred Taylor was signed by the New England Patriots hopefully to alleviate the pressure on fellow back Laurence Maroney.
Quarter back Sage Rosenfels was traded by the Houston Texans to the Minnesota Vikings for a fourth rounds pick.
Running back Correll Buckhalter was signed by the Denver Broncos in a busy weekend for the team. Other players signed include back J.J. Arrington and snapper Loin Paxton.
Offensive lineman Stacy Andrews was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles and now plays with older brother Shawn Andrews.
Corner back Lito Sheppard was traded by the Philadelphia Eagles to the New York Jets for two undisclosed draft picks. The Jets also resigned guard Brandon Moore.
Quarter back Matt Cassel of the New England Patriots was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs, along with linebacker Mike Vrabel, for a second round draft pick.
Defensive end Antonio Smith was signed by the Houston Texans in a busy day for the Texans.
Houston also resigned center Chris White, safety Eugene Wilson, defensive end Stanley McClover, and tight end Joel Dreessen.
The Denver Broncos also had one other big move so far: signing safety Brian Dawkins to a 5 year contract.
Quarter back Jon Kitna was traded by the Detroit Lions to the Dallas Cowboys for cornerback Anthony Henry.
The Cowboys also signed linebacker Keith Brooking.
Center Geoff Hangartner was signed by the Buffalo Bills.
Line backer Bart Scott was signed by the New York Jets for a six year contract worth 48 million dollars.

The San Francisco 49ers signed wide receiver Brandon Jones.
The New York Giants signed linebacker Michael Boley.
The New Orleans Saints signed tackle Jon Stinchcomb.
The Minnesota Vikings re-signed tight end Jim Kleinsasser.
The Detroit Lions signed running back Maurice Morris and corner back Eric King.
