Illinois beat Minnesota 52-41 on Wednesday to remain just one game back of Michigan Statein the standings. This will be the last home game of the regular season for the Illini who finish on the road Thursday against Penn State. Illinois made it close in their first match up against Michigan State on January 17, losing 57-63.
