Michigan (18-11, 8-8) at Wisconsin (17-10, 8-7)

Line: Wisconsin -8

Michigangot a signature win on Wednesday with an 87-78 victory over Purdue in Crisler Arena.  Robbie Hummel scored 24 for the Boilermakers, but the Wolverines countered with 29 points from DeShawn Sims and 27 from Manny Harris. The win is the third in the last four games for Michigan who is on the bubble with a couple of road games left in the regular season. Michigan will need to win at least one of the two and maybe both games to make the tourney field.

At the moment, Wisconsin is probably in the tournament, but they let a big opportunity pass them by with a 50-61 defeat to Michigan State. Dismal shooting and poor rebounding kept this game from being close. The loss snapped a five game winning streak for Wisconsin. Two of the Badgers final three games are at home and they should be favored in all three.
