Second day of NFL's
- The Giants agreed to terms with former Falcons linebacker Michael Boley. (Cue A-Rod: "Boli, or bole") It's a five-year, $25 million deal.

- The 49ers lost WR Bryant Johnson to the Lions but added WR Brandon Jones, formerly of the Titans. Sources say they're also involved in the Kurt Warner sweepstakes.

- The Broncos apparently were working on a deal that would have sent Jay Cutler to the Bucs and brought Matt Cassel to Denver, to be reunited with his offensive coordinator in New England, Broncos head coach Josh McDaniel. That was scrapped when the Patriots traded Cassel to Kansas City. Denver is reportedly now talking with other teams about trading Cutler, with the Lions being one suitor.

- Speaking of the Broncos, they have been one of the busier teams thus far, already signing nine players in free agency, including Jabar Gaffney, Correll Buckhalter, Brian Dawkins, JJ Arrington and Andra Davis.

- The Cowboys made a few moves, signing former Falcons LB Keith Brooking and trading for Jon Kitna, who will back up Tony Romo in Dallas, in exchange for cornerback Anthony Henry.
