Car Racing Czar Glenn Donnelly Wants to Race Horses Too

Auto racing mogul Glenn Donnelly and his partners are hoping to branch out into horse racing — and perhaps, with a lot of luck, into casino gaming — at the new car-racing complex they plan to build in Oswego County.
Oswego Racing Inc., a harness racing company formed by Donnelly and others, will ask the state Racing and Wagering Board on Thursday for permission to incorporate. That’s a preliminary step that would allow the group to seek the state’s last remaining harness track license.
