Carolina Panthers Have A Chance Next Year

The last 2 years, the Carolina Panthers have definitely struggled.

They have not lived up to expectations, and they are losing fan support, fast. I credit those 2 bad years mostly to injuries.

The Panthers will be tempted to draft a quarterback, and some fans will call for it. Well, they shouldn't. They have 2 young, promising quarterbacks with plenty of potential. They have Brett Basanez, and Matt Moore. Brett Basanez has broken records. Matt Moore is also good.

Jake Delhomme is a very up and down player. He always seems to be great for one year, and then mediocre the next.

Although the Panthers didn't make a big boom in Free Agency, they made some good moves. By signing Hackett, Muhammed, and Travis Taylor, they have immensely improved their weak receiving core. Steve Smith will still get the majority of the catches, but at least now some of the pressure will be taken off of him.

I also beleive that DeAngelo Williams will be okay as the starting running back. In my mind, they will go 9-7 or 10-6 next year, and will make it to the 2nd round in the playoffs.
