Tottenham Hotspur have released the first picture of new signing Clint Dempsey.

Meanwhile, BBC Sport's Ben Smith is reporting that Spurs have missed out on signing Porto midfielder Joao Moutinho.

The two clubs had reportedly agreed to a transfer fee earlier Friday.
