Matt Cassel and Mike Vrabel Sent to Kansas City

Andrew CrowContributor IFebruary 28, 2009

New England Patriots quarterback Matt Cassel has been sent to the Kansas City Chiefs with Mike Vrabel for the Chiefs' second-round draft pick, 34th overall in the upcoming 2009 draft.

In Kansas City, it is expected that Cassel will start while Tyler Thigpen will be reduced to a backup role.

Hopefully this news confirms reports that Tom Brady is expected to make a full recovery by the time next season begins and that he will be starting for the Patriots.
