Today will be the final day of the first-round action of the U.S. Open in Flushing Meadows, N.Y.
While the men's first-round matches will be concluding, the women's second-round meetings will get underway, beginning with the No. 1 seed on Ashe.
Tune in to Tennis Channel from 11 a.m. (ET) until 7 p.m. to see the third day of action.
At 1:00 p.m. ESPN2 will also be showing matches around the grounds up until the final night match (presumably around 11:00 p.m.).
John Isner has a very tough opponent in Xavier Malisse from Belgium. X-Man certainly knows how to give the top players a run for their money and has the game to get the job done.
All other Americans aside, Andy Murray has a potentially tough match against Ivan Dodig. The young Croat is best known for his upset against Rafael Nadal in Montreal after being down a break in each of the three sets they played. Dodig won 1-6, 7-6 (5), 7-6 (5).
