Chris Cooley to the New York Jets and Tim Tebow to H-Back?

Chris Cooley was recently released by the Washington Redskins in a cost-saving move that will have many teams scrambling to sign his services.
Cooley was a quality tight end for Washington for eight years. He was injured much of last year, but in 2010, he was third among all tight ends in receiving yards.
He is known to work well in the slot, and he is very quarterback-friendly.
The Jets, meanwhile, are clearly struggling to field a decent receiving corps. One has to assume that if Tim Tebow had soft hands and ran good routes, they would already have tried him at tight end.
Why not sign Cooley and move Tebow to H-back? As an H-back, Tebow can block, run, catch an occasional dump-off pass, and when the defense least expects it, hurl something resembling a pass at a wide open receiver.
Cooley would be a great fit for the Jets. He's a great leader, a great receiver and he has a bruising, blue-collar way of playing the game. What's not to love?
It's time for Ryan to wake up and realize that his offense will need to get much more Sanchez-friendly if they are ever going to move the ball enough to score touchdowns.
Nothing could be more quarterback friendly than adding a savvy, veteran tight end who still has plenty of tread on his tires. Cooley wont leave anyone in the dust, but he will find the holes in coverage, present a big, friendly target for Sanchez and move the chains.
It's also time to wake up and realize that Tebow isn't a quarterback.
Watching him pass doesn't remind one of a mediocre quarterback; it reminds one of a non-quarterback throwing the ball. There is a big difference. Tebow has a gift for scrambling and running the ball. He needs to play a position where that is all that's asked of him.
