Veteran defenseman Kyle Quincey sees an opportunity to play a bigger role for the Detroit Red Wings this season after the departures of Nicklas Lidstrom and Brad Stuart.
Lidstrom retired in May while Stuart signed with the San Jose Sharks in June.
