What happened to the plan? In case you forgot, let's bring in Star Tribune columnist Jim Souhan to refresh our memories:

"Losing as much as possible to attain the highest chance of winning the NBA draft lottery and landing Kansas State's Michael Beasley."

Minnesota has now won 15 games this season, and they seem to have forgotten the plan in it's entirety. What's going on?

I think I know. Mark Madsen is on the bench. If the 'Wolves want Beasley, they need to play Madsen.

The Miami Heat have caught and passed Minnesota in the race for the worst record in the NBA. The Heat have 11 wins, the 'Wolves have 15. Miami's Dwayne Wade is out for the season, so they won't be winning many more games.

It's time to call upon Madsen to save us, before it's too late.

Interestingly enough, the Heat traded for Ricky Davis and Mark Blount earlier this season. Someone should have stopped that trade before it started, because no one in their right mind would trade for both of these players unless they are looking for an easy way to lose some games.

It's a race to see who can throw the most games.

Madsen first made a name for himself as a game loser two seasons ago, in the season finale against Memphis.

Madsen went 1-15 from the field, and missed seven three pointers. However bad we may have made pro basketball look that night, we accomplished our mission.

Jim Souhan argues that Madsen can't do it alone...he needs help to be able to lose games.

Enter: Gerald Green.

Green is available again, and if anyone can chuck up horrible shots like Madsen, it's Green.

Another possibility is turning the coaching duties over to the boring Jimmy Rodgers. The only obstacle in that move is Randy Wittman.

Wittman has an awesome resume in the losing games business, but I can only imagine that Rodgers would do better.

Come on GM Kevin McHale. You're so good at messing things up, why can't you mess up our team a little more?
