According to the Daily Mirror, City are also considering a move for Benfica midfielder Javi Garcia. The 25-year-old reportedly has a £25 million buyout clause in his contract.
The Daily Mirror reports that Queens Park Rangers are nearing a deal for Inter Milan's Brazilian goalkeeper Julio Cesar.
