The Chicago Cubs and shortstop Starlin Castro have closed the gap on contract negotiations and could announce on Tuesday the official agreement on a seven-year, $59 million dollar deal, according to a major league source.
The contract money was agreed to 10 days ago as first reported by ESPN Deportes.
