Manny Ramirez's Value to the Dodgers

Manny Ramirez is worth more than $25 million per year.

Manny brings an excitement to the ballpark unmatched by any other baseball player. He is charismatic, he is a winner, and on top of that he is the most dominant right-handed hitter in the history of baseball.

Only Manny can bring people to the ballpark in a star-struck Los Angeles. He brings in ticket sales that in turn brings in concessions and parking. He brings playoff games.

He brings championships.

Manny by himself could bring in over $25 million for the Dodgers this season. The ballpark will be packed and there will be No. 99 jerseys all over Chavez Ravine.

No other player in baseball can touch Manny's impact. Not A-Rod, before steroids. In a day when baseball players are seen as boring and without personality, Manny knocks both out of the park.

Baseball purists may not like Manny, but people who want to be entertained do.

Manny hits and Manny entertains. Manny makes money in LA.
