Strikeforce: Rousey versus Kaufman took place on Saturday, August 18 from the Valley View Casino in San Diego, CA. The main event saw Strikeforce bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey defend her title with a 54-second submission victory over former champion Sarah Kaufman. In the co-main event, former Strikeforce middleweight champion Ronaldo Souza made short work of Derek Brunson, earning a knockout victory in just 41-seconds.

The California State Athletic Commission has released the fighter salaries for the event as well as the medical suspensions* stemming from the fight card:

Salaries for Strikeforce: Rousey vs. Kaufman Fight Card:

Ronda Rousey ($20,000 plus win-bonus of $20,000) defeats Sarah Kaufman ($17,000).

Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza ($72,000 plus win-bonus of $22,000) defeats Derek Brunson ($13,000).

Tarec Saffiedine ($17,500 plus win-bonus of  $17,500) defeats Roger Bowling ($10,000).

Anthony Smith ($3,000 plus win-bonus of  $3,000) defeats Lumumba Sayers ($7,000).

Ovince St. Preux ($17,000 plus win-bonus of $17,000) defeats T.J. Cook ($3,000).

Miesha Tate ($19,000 plus win-bonus of $19,000) defeats Julie Kedzie ($5,000).

Adian Amagov ($10,000 plus win-bonus of $10,000) defeats Keith Berry ($2,000).

Germaine De Randamie ($7,500 plus win-bonus of $7,500) defeats Hiroko Yamanaka ($8,000).

Bobby Green ($8,000 plus win-bonus of  $8,000) defeats Matt Ricehouse ($5,000).

Strikeforce Rousey vs. Kaufman Fight Card Medical Suspensions:

Derek Brunson suspended for 45 days with 30 days no contact due to KO.

Lumumba Sayers suspended 60 days with 60 days no contact due to cuts to right eye and left scalp.

Ovince St. Preux suspended 180 days with 180 days no contact for left thumb injury.

T.J. Cook suspended 45 days with 30 days no contact due to KO, also indefinite suspension due to possible neck fracture pending clearance by a physician.

Miesha Tate suspended for 45 days with 30 days no contact due to hard bout.

Julie Kedzie suspended for 180 days with 180 days no contact. May be cleared early by physician for possible left shoulder injury.

Keith Berry suspended 45 days with 30 days no contact due to TKO and indefinite suspension or until cleared by physician for hyperextension to left knee.

Hiroko Yamanaka suspended 60 days with 60 days no contact due to cut to right interior eye.
