WBO junior welterweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez (54-6-1, 39KOs) would consider making a run for a welterweight title - if Manny Pacquiao selects an alternative opponent for his upcoming return on November 10th in Las Vegas. Marquez is one of the three options being considered by Pacquiao. If Pacquiao decides to fight Timothy Bradley or Miguel Cotto, then Marquez will move in another direction. He wants to stay active by having another fight. Marquez has fought twice at welterweight, losing a lopsided decision to Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2009 and then losing a controversial decision to Pacquiao last November.
