WWE SummerSlam 2012: Predictions for Every Match on the Card
wwe.com

SummerSlam is today, and despite the fact that I am not very excited about it, I stopped by the YouTube show Sports Clinic with Dr. El Grande to discuss the outcome of the matches on tonight's card.

Santino Marella vs. Antonio Cesaro

After months of having the United States championship around his waist, Santino Marella is putting up the title against Antonio Cesaro. Will we have a new U.S. Champion tonight?

Luis: Santino Marella is going to win this. There's not point in having a title change on a pre-show.

Dr. El Grande: Nope, the WWE is getting behind Antonio Cesaro. Tonight he will be the newest United States champ—and then tell everyone how happy he is in 15 different languages.

Kofi Kingston and R-Truth vs. the Prime Time Players

Luis: The Prime Time Players are ready for...the prime time. Kofi Kingston and R-Truth have had the titles long enough. Darren Young and Titus O'Neil win.

Dr. El Grande: The Prime Time Players aren't ready—yet. Tonight's card is too busy; they need to win on their own night.

The Miz vs. Rey Mysterio

Here's the full conversation

Luis: Who cares? Really, where did this match come from? The Miz will probably win it anyways.

Dr. El Grande: The Miz needs to win this one. He is the only heel with a title, and the WWE needs to keep titles on at least one bad guy.

Daniel Bryan vs. Kane

Luis: Seen it! Daniel Bryan will probably win, but who cares? I've seen this match in the past already.

Dr. El Grande: Yes! Yes! Yes! Daniel Bryan in the ring is a good thing—and he'll probably win this.

Alberto del Rio vs. Sheamus

Luis: I've seen this match about 40 times already. If the WWE wants to shake things up, Alberto del Rio needs to win.

Dr. El Grande: The WWE likes to be predictable. Sheamus wins this.

Chris Jericho vs. Dolph Ziggler

Luis: Jericho is leaving soon. No point in having him win—Dolph Ziggler will win tonight.

Dr. El Grande: Chris Jericho needs to win a match before leaving. He hasn't won anything, and this is his last chance before being gone for a while.

CM Punk vs. the Big Show vs. John Cena

Luis: Boring. CM Punk is going to win. Why is the Big Show in this match?

Dr. El Grande: CM Punk wins tonight, but Cena will win next month at Night of Champions.

Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar

Luis: Brock Lesnar needs to win. The WWE needs a dominant heel, and Lesnar is the perfect man for that role.

Dr. El Grande: Triple H wins. It's basically his company, and his ego needs a boost now that he is entering his mid-life crisis.

There you have it folks, those are our predictions. Do you agree? Disagree?
