NHL 13 Player Ratings: EA Sports Releases Rankings for Hit Video Game
NHL 13 from EA Sports releases on September 11, but the overall ratings have been released for each player in the game.
This is often a major sticking point with fans of the series, and I'm sure the debates will continue to rage on as you read this year's ratings.
The ratings were released and posted by Yahoo! Sports. Here are two screenshots that show the ratings for the Chicago Blackhawks and the Washington Capitals.
You can click the appropriate link to see the ratings for players in both conferences:
Some may feel that Alex Ovechkin's 93-overall rating is a bit too high.
I would personally disagree with that dispute. Ovie is still one of the best players in the NHL, and anything lower than a 93 would be an injustice. I would have liked to see Jonathan Toews receive more than a 90-overall rating, but I imagine his injury rating brought down his overall.
There is no way to please everyone with the ratings. That is why it's a good thing that EA generally allows you to alter the ratings yourself.
But for the habitual complainer, that takes all the fun out of complaining.
The game itself looks awesome, and judging by the feedback from this preview/tracker I posted on NHL 13, that is something most fans can agree on.
The demo drops on August 21 for Xbox360 and August 22 for PS3 owners. Give it whirl, and then check out the retail version on September 11, and September 8 for EA Season Pass users.
