WWE SummerSlam 2012 Card: Why Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H Will Steal the Show

The card for WWE SummerSlam 2012 is loaded with big names and high-profile matches, but none of the fights will come close to matching the intensity of the rivalry between Brock Lesnar and Triple H

These two megastars are set to battle one another mano y mano. It's no secret that they hate each other, and given Lesnar's losses recently, he's going to put up a hell of a fight.

And, if their recent offerings are any indication of what we'll expect on Sunday, these two warriors are going to put on an epic display of brute force, physical destruction and raw intimidation.

Given the fact that Shawn Michaels was recently attacked by Lesnar, leading to a broken arm, it's easy to think that Michaels will either miss out on the event altogether or make a surprise appearance in Triple H's corner.

WWE.com has reported that Michaels won't be making an appearance.

What would really set the place on fire, though, is if Michaels shows up during the fight to betray Triple H. It would be the ultimate insult, but it would also generate the most buzz. Either way, I think it's safe to say that nobody will be surprised to see Michaels show up, regardless of which side he takes.

Even if Michaels never shows up, this fight is going to end up being a knock-down, drag-out brawl.

WWE COO vs. WWE rebel.

Physical force of nature vs. psychological warrior.

I won't be surprised to see both men laying in a pool of their own blood by the time it's over, and broken bones may be inevitable at this point. In the end, Lesnar will win or go home for good, and I'm betting he sticks around for a little while longer.

It's going to be an epic match for the ages, and all the other fights at SummerSlam will pale in comparison.
