Wideouts Miles Austin and Dez Bryant have been slowed by hamstring injuries, the offensive line has been down two starters and stud tight end Jason Witten could miss the season opener after lacerating his spleen.

As painful as August has been for so many players in Dallas, the Cowboy having the worst training camp so far is running back Felix Jones.

Jones came into camp needing to wow the coaches for any shot at wrestling the starting RB job back from DeMarco Murray.

Jones responded by failing a conditioning test, dropping a pass against Oakland and, by all accounts, has done little to inspire confidence in the Cowboys coaching staff.

Entering his fifth season, the time is now for Jones to prove he can be a consistent contributor in the Cowboys backfield.
