Power Ranking the BCS Conferences

Michael Felder@InTheBleachersNational CFB Lead WriterAugust 16, 2012

So which conference is the best? The SEC has won the last six national titles and opens the season with a couple teams clustered close to the top 10. Out west, the Pac-12 is looking to get one of its top teams into the title hunt as both USC and Oregon look to start hot. The Big 12 and Big Ten are both jockeying for position among the best leagues in the college football.

With transition all over the collegiate landscape, which league is really going to be tops in 2012? Do TCU and WVU help offset the losses of prime-time players at Oklahoma State and Baylor? Is this the year that the ACC or the Big East can rise from the ranks of the “bottom two” leagues by putting a team into contention for that top spot?

We’ve got our rankings. Leave your ideas in the comments below!
